My point of view:- I have only played the first 3 or 4 hours so I don’t have a whole lot to say but so far the world looks beautiful and everything is pretty well crafted(in a Valve like fashion). I like how they try to take a simplistic approach, focus on solid combat and the story is interesting albeit not gripping(yet). The combat itself is balanced and challenging while remaining well placed for your character to easily progress. I like how customizable it is and the free form feeling of it. Ofcourse there’s a danger of playtaring while you can still find yourself able to accomplish some hard missions. The players have good reactions and react well to situations. The problem is that the combat is not all that interesting, it feels like a bastard child of some of the fighting games and the way the combat is handled is more tactical then it should be but it’s a bit clunky and some of the moves don’t have any logic to them.
Hopefully things improve, the developers seem very enthusiastic and hardworking and ofc they have a big team for just a game under their belt but my main wish is that this game is more fun then it has the potential to be.
Conclusion: Try it, it’s very fun, the game doesn’t really have any flaws apart from the combat. All in all it’s a good game at the early access stage and I can’t wait to play more of the game and when it’s completed be able to see how the rest of the game is.
