C# WPF timer with foreach

I’m trying to create a WPF application with a simple timer. The idea is to have the timer start at 0 and then countdown. The timer can be started/ended through button clicks on a GUI. When the timer gets to 0, it will write the total time it has been running to a text box on the GUI.
My problem is that I want to do this through a foreach loop so I can count down the time for each item in a list.
I’m assuming I need to have a foreach loop that is called by the timer and then set up a method that is called when the timer gets to 0, but I’m not sure how to make this work.
I’ve seen several similar questions on Stack Overflow, but nothing that seems to address the specific problem I’m having.
