React redux: passing in props from container to parent component

I have a child component named ChatThread that is being used as the container for chat messages. I’m using react-redux to maintain the store. It works as intended.
However, I have an error when attempting to pass props from container to the parent ChatThread component. I would like the parent component to get passed a message prop from container, which I think I can do. Here’s the code
