The issue I am having is that in a.NET Core console app I can add a reference to Microsoft.Azure.Cosmos without having to install anything additional. If I reference this package in an ASP.NET MVC project, I need to install the CosmosClient NuGet package.
If I try adding a reference to the CosmosClient package, I get the following error:
