Create a project

For a new installation, create a project in the New Project Wizard. In the Basic category of the New Project Wizard, choose MEP + architecture.

AutoCAD MEP software has two components: AutoCAD MEP on the client, and the AutoCAD MEP server. To create an MEP project, you have to first install the AutoCAD MEP software on your PC. The server software must be installed on a separate server.

Thanks for the post.
I ran the.bat file and was able to install the software.
However, after I closed the Autocad and opened it again, I cannot start the application.
The screen is stuck on the black screen, and I cannot get into the Autocad.

The error I get is:

“Starting the Autodesk Component Registration Service. The computer is not registered with Autodesk Component Registration Service. AutoCAD 2012 or AutoCAD LT was previously installed on this computer. To install the Autodesk Component Registration Service, click Yes, Update the computer’s registration information, and then restart the computer.”

After checking the Autocad help, I noticed that some of the details of the autocad and auto cad lt will not be updated.

line into a tiny line.

AutoCAD now makes this possible by scaling the width and end of each edge in

a polyline. By scaling each edge of a polyline, the width and end of the line will

scale with it, keeping the line as a unit.

AutoCAD lets you select and scale each edge of a polyline. You can also select the

first and last vertices of a polyline and scale them together. You can even apply a

global scale to each edge of a polyline.

Note: You can scale your polyline any number of times, and the scale is preserved

at each level.

Brush Polyline Support:

With AutoCAD’s Brush Polyline feature, you can now create polylines using

a brush tool. The polylines are created by stroking the path with the brush tool.
