Tarnished Knight is a FATE RPG.

It’s an excellent RPG in the same genre as Battletech, Battlelines, Shadowrun, Hero Quest, or Mech Warrior. All of these are one on one turn based games with a heavy emphasis on roleplaying and the art of story telling. Tarnished Knight is also made by the same team as Dioxine Elite.

I’ve played a lot of FATE games, but usually only one at a time. In Tarnished Knight I have a party of four members. They are all my friends and all skilled, we have a lot of fun in this game.

The look of the game is very nice. On the graphics front it has a lot of charm, the animations are well done, the battle system is fast and fluid, and it feels like a full featured game.

The music in the game is also very good. The soundtracks are all done by Airi, the composer from Dioxine Elite and they are done very well.

The game’s setting is also fantastic, especially considering it has only been released on PS4 and Xbox One. It has a very dark and grim look to it.

There are lots of game modes, in both single and multiplayer, lots of game modes, but once you get used to the mechanics, they’re easy to understand.

The biggest problem in my opinion, is that the game doesn’t support multiplayer like most games, but even still, it’s a very easy game to pick up, it’s very approachable and everyone can get into it.

Is there a problem with the story, does it unravel in a way that just isn’t satisfying?

I can’t say that there’s a problem, I think it’s a very interesting and engaging story, and even if you don’t like that sort of story, it’s not too long to finish.

Gameplay

The world of the Lands Between consists of a selection of fields and the main goal is to complete the selection of fields.

The official selection consists of the 7 main classes (Barbarian, Dancer, Mage, Archer, Rogue, Monk, and Ranger), the 40+ classes (The aforementioned classes with the addition of these new classes) and the 5 ultimate classes (Beastman, Dragon, Elf, Lich, and Worshipper)

Each player will start with only a number of troops (the main character and a set of four “creature companions” (Berserker, Commando, Wraith, and Scout) and will have to obtain the necessary skills and equipment for the main character class or a new character class that they select and create during the game.
