PC Chrono is a small application that comes packed with a clock, timer and stopwatch.
Clean looks
The user interface of the program is simplistic and easy to navigate through. The current date and time is displayed in a large and clean font.
Setting up the timer
When it comes to the timer, you can set the relative and absolute time, use voice synthesis as a reminder and increase remind frequency automatically. The time is displayed in hours, minutes and seconds, and you can also check out the date.
Regarding the stopwatch, you can use “start,” “pause,” “reset” and “cancel” buttons.
Configuration settings
In the “Settings” menu, you can change the time format, set PC Chrono to minimize to system tray, show message box, as well as specify an MP3, OGG or WAV file to play and enable voice synthesis (in timer, stopwatch and clock mode).
Performance
The program uses a very low amount of system CPU and memory. It doesn't come with a help file but that's because PC Chrono is extremely easy to configure.
Where it falls short
Unfortunately, besides the fact that it comes with very limited features, we weren't able to access “Other Speech Settings” found in the “Voice Synthesis” tab in “Settings.”
Furthermore, PC Chrono doesn't allow you to set multiple alarms at once or recurring reminders. We suggest you test this software application for yourself. It is simple to use, whether you are a novice or experienced individual.
