Sonate is a stand-alone network monitoring application designed for OpenBSD pf packet filtering and network monitoring.
It can be used to monitor a LAN and WAN traffic and/or filter IP packets by IP, TCP/UDP, and/or MAC addresses.
Sonate can be used as simple monitor, for post-processing of existing packet log files, or to design filtering rules by using the configurable flow editor in graphical mode.

Update 1
User1 and User2 have reported that their package(s) are missing due to a small old package I’ve uploaded some months ago. If this is your case try to download the latests Sonate for OpenBSD packages from my repo here, located on the Sonate downloads page. I’ll upload again once I’ve managed to rebuild the packages.
Update 2
I uploaded the latest package for Sonate 1.0.1.1. Now you can install it from the repository I uploaded it to, located here.
Update 3
After almost 5 years I’ve finally uploaded the most recent version of Sonate for OpenBSD (version 2.0.5.0) for those who might be interested in checking it out.

I wrote a guide a while ago on how to update OpenBSD pf to the new configuration format:
A:
OpenBSD pf is powerful, and when it comes to utilizing its power, it is a lot less configurable than the Linux-based PF.

Sonate is a java GUI (GUI=Graphical User Interface) for packet filtering on the OpenBSD operating system. It has a goal of presenting the user a visual and easy way of configuring OpenBSD packet filtering.
There is an experimental version of Sonate in OpenBSD 6.6(REL) where some of the features of this client (such as the drop rules editor) are not working.
ROSA:
Sonate is currently under development. There’s a beta release of the client available at:
Known issues in the beta version:
* Main feature at the moment is the openSSL support to transfer pre-generated config to OpenBSD host. During the process of config generation, OpenSSL generates a non-encrypted key and secret files. These files could be re-used by anyone, so if the config is shared it’s a problem. To avoid sharing configs, the config files are rotated when using the script and keys are used for encryption. The host needs a copy of the key and the generated config file in order to decrypt the config properly.
* When manually entering characters in the generated rules file, keyboard and/or floating number input is not properly parsed.
* OpenSSL configuration files could not be rotated.
* The generated rule file cannot be deleted and the command line cannot be saved.
* The script is not very well written and it is not possible to extend it with other tools.
* The generated config file will be always loaded as plain text.

Sonate Crack
Sonate is a multi-language (English, French, German, Czech, Slovenian) GUI for pf packet filter. It has not only centralized option list, but also options for network related information like time-to-live, port-to-port mapping, interface name, classifiers, etc. It also features a consolidated view for all the information.
Sonate’s goal is to make the packet filter easier to use. The GUI is designed to abstract as much as possible the pf command-line tool. Sonate focuses on usability rather than flexibility.
Sonate Features:
* Tool for interface multiple configuration from file
* Option list
* Interface, proxy and interface/proxy related information
* Port and port/proxy related information
* Time-to-live
* Classifier related information
* TCP protocol related information
* UDP protocol related information
* MAC address related information
* Interface name
* IP address related information
* Modules information
* SNMP module (optional)
* scapy module (optional)
* AES module (optional)
Sonate does not run as inetd, but as a daemon. It will be started after packet filtering configuration has been done. It uses standard pf commands like SO_REUSEPORT to allow adding back a multiple interface at the same time.
Sonate Workflow:
Manually create a configuration file, open Sonate, click on “New Configuration”, enter the chosen name and description, select the interface/proxy to add, choose “Serial” if the interface is Ethernet or “Serial TCP” if it’s a TCP port or “Serial UDP” if it’s a UDP port. Click on “OK” and “Save”.
Now that Sonate is open you can choose to configure a single interface or several interfaces. If you selected one interface, click on “Classifier – Add classifier”, enter the classifier name and description, choose the protocol and the profile. If you selected several interfaces, click on the interface one by one, choose “Classifier – Add classifier” for each, enter the classifier name and description, choose the protocol and the profile.
Once all the classifiers are entered, click on “Modules – Add module”, choose the protocol and the profile.
Finally, scroll down to the interface or interface/proxy and choose the option you want to modify.
Note that you can also select several entries, add or remove them, in this case
