DuraFin® Applied Fin Tubes described the creation of an enhanced surface tube by affixing a sheet metallic fin to a clean tube. The fin is helically wound across the tube forming a powerful mechanical contact between the tube and fin. A number of sorts of fin attachments provide wonderful service life in a variety of purposes. In heavy duty applications the fins will be completely bonded to the tube by utilizing solder or braze.
