\navailable. The application is cross-platform and can run on any
\noperating system you want, i.e. even embedded systems.
\nLimitations:
\n1) Unlimited free space. No storage limit.
\n2) Will try to help you out by going into the drive and deleting
\nfiles that are no longer there. If it finds a deleted file, it will
\nconsolidate it into an archive file and leave the original file there.
\nBut remember, when running Disc-Lib on a win95 or even win98 machine, the
\ndrive will be constantly be writing to the archive, and it may put you
\nout of space very quickly. So be warned.
\n3) No lzma compression yet.
\n4) No support for drag and drop.
\n5) No support for folders yet.
\n6) No support for plain text files yet.
\nSo here is how to install:
\nDownload the zip file or tar.gz file from the website. Or you can
\njust download a tar.gz file at the website.
\nMake sure you install into a directory in your machine’s $PATH.
\nFor example, if you were on a machine with arch installed, you would
\ntype
\n.\/configure
\nmake
\nmake install
\nThe configure and make commands will prompt you for where to install
\nDisc-Lib. It may take a while if you are on a slow machine.
\n7) After installation, you should be able to launch Disc-Lib via your
\nsystem’s start menu or type disc-lib in a shell prompt.
\n8) If all has gone well, and there are no errors, start up Disc-Lib,
\nand you should see this:
