Getting user’s time zone<\/p>\n
I have an application that saves a User’s time zone as a string in core data. When saving the time zone I get the string out of an NSDateFormatter using the following code:

However, this is not ideal because each time the user logs in this must be repeated to set their time zone.
\nIs there a better way to set a user’s default time zone on app launch? I’m not sure that it isn’t stored as a string in the core data file.<\/p>\n

Look at using the “Current locale” property. The value will likely be what you are looking for.
