I hear a lot of complaints on this website about Boomers who are cranky. Now I\u2019ve got one of my own. See if you can figure out which one.<\/p>\n
My son is getting married on Saturday. This is his third marriage and I\u2019m not sure which one of his ex\u2019s they are marrying off to but I know exactly which one of his babies will be getting married. This is the crazy part. The other two ex\u2019s are not around and have not been for many years. I don\u2019t know why the hell they did that!<\/p>\n
When my son and his ex\u2019s were growing up their parents had many many fights and fights all the time. It seemed like once or twice a week someone was gone and then a few months later they were back and wanting to get into some kind of fight.<\/p>\n
The ex\u2019s (sisters) used to say our parents would stay in bed together and stare at each other all day. Who knows what it was all about. They had lots of secrets. None of us know why. Every time we got in a fight my parents would say they were \u201cjust kids\u201d and I guess they thought it was so we wouldn\u2019t call them out for causing the fights. Ha!<\/p>\n
My son and the ex\u2019s all grew up. The fights went away. What really bothers me is that I have no idea what happened between them. My son goes out with the ex\u2019s and spends weekends with them.<\/p>\n
My son says the ex\u2019s have come out of it with a lifetime of bad relationships. I agree with him. Of course, what did we do right?<\/p>\n
My son was 43 when I first met him. I\u2019ve been divorced from his Dad since he was nine. I\u2019ve been remarried twice and I\u2019m not getting married again. I don\u2019t care how old I am, I\u2019m having trouble thinking about getting married again. I\u2019m not ready for that kind of relationship. I have my one son and he is almost 27.<\/p>\n
