Choose File\u21d2New to create a new document and get a fresh canvas to work with.<\/p>\n New documents are shown on a grid (see Figure 18-1), in Photoshop Elements, and in Photoshop. Photoshop Elements starts on a tab at the bottom of the screen; Photoshop starts on the right of the screen, where it displays documents as horizontal sheets of paper (see Figure 18-2). In both applications, the Documents tab displays a flat list of all the documents you’ve created.<\/p>\n The Documents tab is organized in such a way that you can see at a glance exactly what document you’re viewing. At the top of the tab is a thumbnail of the current document.
