How To Install devRantron<\/p>\n
Important info:
\nThe devRantron client is available for Linux, Windows, and Mac. If you require developer support, you must be using a browser which supports the Web Audio API.<\/p>\n

\nThis seems to be a common issue with this and other programs built on Electron. It’s most likely something that can’t be fixed and, unfortunately, can’t be used on an easily fixable issue.
\nHowever, the devRant developers are working on it to the best of their abilities so that it’s no longer a problem.<\/p>\n

\n`Clerk` is a free software programmer which specializes in JS and C++. He is the author of several open source devRant-based projects, such as devRantron, deRantron and `devRantr`.<\/p>\n
I don’t know how I got into this and I don’t know what to do.
\nIf the devRant clients’ files don’t match the ones on your computer, you’ve probably downloaded the wrong one.<\/p>\n
It’s probably a good idea to uninstall all devRant-related applications before installing devRantron, just in case, since it won’t overwrite existing files.
\nTo uninstall a given application, click on the gear icon located at the top right corner and select the option “Uninstall from your computer”. There, select the correct application and click the “Uninstall” button.
\nOnce you’re done with that, make sure you delete the uninstaller file which you can find at your desktop.<\/p>\n
(You may be required to also clean your computer’s cache to get rid of previous installers)
\nWhen you’re finished doing that, you’re all set! To run devRantron, please launch it using the “Open at Login” feature located at the top right corner.<\/p>\n

A few words on how it works:
\nAs mentioned earlier, the client is using electron, it’s a framework for building desktop and mobile apps. Electron makes it easier to build fast desktop apps with the same feel as native ones.
\nEach section has its own page, but an instance of devRantron is running on the background so the tab, e.g. “Custom” from our description, can be opened at any time by clicking on it from the section’s page.
\nAlso, there is a reload button at the top that you can use to update the app.
\nFinally, the client is open source so there is no need to worry about the closed nature of the app.
\nSo, if you have some questions or want to chat to other developers and\/or developer friends, try out devRantron for yourself and if you feel like it, make a pull request or just hop into the #devrantron’s chatroom.
