I have recently noticed that a lot of answers on SO, particularly those with lots of up-votes, are from users with very low reputation. I understand that Stack Overflow is not the place to teach to become a developer and gain reputation, but I see a lot of inappropriate answers – which may have been formatted as questions – with maybe a few words of explanation but nothing more.
\nI also know that users with privilege can change and delete answers (which would be sufficient to avoid those answers from being incorrect, wrong, or of poor quality); however, I’ve noticed that this is being used selectively in a few cases.
\nThe issue in question today is this question: How do I get runtime reflection? which has over 564 up-votes. It’s an answer provided by TPT, who has a reputation of just 223. However, unlike the user with the 2 reputation who wrote the accepted answer (or at least commented on it), TPT’s answer lacks any explanation.
